Took out my Glimmer Harp I bought last spring (I think) and learned on it heavily during my last round. I think I like it a bit more than my Mint, will have to evaluate some more though. Probably gonna be a mostly BH disc if it stays in the bag.
I've been thinking that the Coalesce feels quite small in the hand for a 9-speed and took to the calipers. All the ones I have are <18,5mm. I think it wouldn't be wrong to call this an 8-speed, as it seems to fly slower than a lot of other 9-speeds I've tried.
I'm definitely not surprised you like them 😅
I couldn't really find a good enough reason to keep one in the bag. It was more a slightly longer compliment to my Flares than a compliment to any of my distance drivers.
I've been carrying as many discs that I can fit in the bag, which is a lot in a Octohaul, for a while now just to see which I tend to trust and reach for more often than others. From the new discs these are the ones I tend to reach for the most:
Ethos Coalesce. This is the one I trust the most...
FWIW I have a couple of Tournament-X Adders and those are the most overstable distance drivers I've ever thrown. Much more overstable than a PD2 or Panic. Also zero glide, they do not want to stay in the air at all.
I'm gonna give the Clash discs a real chance the coming weeks I think. They all feel super good in the hand and fly well, and their plastic is amazing.
This is what I'm thinking about rocking atm, might change a bit though.

Got to throw the Steady Salt for the first time today and really liked it. It's not the longest disc in my bag but still okay in the distance department. Smacked on a bit of hyzer it flips up and rides to the right a bit before a somewhat dumpy fade. Really flat and sits super well in the hand...
For those that have thrown both the S-line and C-line CD1, how big is the difference in stability? I tried a S-Line for the first time yesterday and really hoped it would fly well since it sits so well in my hand, but this thing was legit flippy. Even in a tailwind I had to put it on a pretty...
One problem with trying new discs is that if you like them it's very hard to narrow down the bag to a reasonable size. I hate to leave discs at home that I really love to throw and I feel like I'll be bagging 30 discs when this is over... 😆
Especially the fairway section is really hard for me...
I've had the opportunity to throw the molds I acquired a couple of months back, but only on a short winter course (lots of snow) and on dry ground in the field. However, here are my initial thoughts:
Candy
Tried this in Hardy and Softy, both putting and throwing. It's straight and glidey...
