Description
This course is located in Robertson Park in Collins, MS just 2-3 blocks east of HWY 49 on the more south side of town. There are Dynamic Patriot baskets on the front 9 and Discraft Chainstar baskets on the back 9. Currently, only the front 9 has signage, but the back 9 is well marked with painted white posts and concrete pills planted in the ground to mark the teeing area. The course has natural tees throughout. FUN little course that makes you throw a lot of different shots, mostly controlled and flexing types through trees. The course isn't wooded per se', but there are some bordering woods on a handful of holes that really come into play. Most of the course is set in a beautiful park setting with lots of shade trees, out of bounds and a few hills that force up and down type shots. A great variety of left going, right going and straight shots implemented into the design. There is plans to add a shorter set of tees, but for now there is just one tee and one basket on each hole. Hole #12 is a nearly 600 foot par 4 dogleg that forces you to play around an old tennis court and down a pipeline to a hanging basket. #17 plays onto a narrow peninsula with a couple big trees coming into play on your tee shot and #18 has a small water carry to make it onto the "island"- like green.

Local Directions:
Coming from the South on HWY 49: As you arrive in the city of Collins, you will come upon a couple car sales complexes on your right (east side of 49), FORD first, and then you will see a white GMC/Chevrolet dealership sign. Take a right (go East) at that sign and travel 2-3 city blocks where you will come to a stop sign. You will see the park across the street to the left. Take a left at that stop sign and go down to your second right where you will enter through the main park entrance. You will see basket #1 on your left as you go through the gate. There is no main parking area (or parking lot at all in this park), so go down and park off the road near #1 tee and the playground. If it is too crowded in that area, you can follow the road past the playground and to the right and park down in the corner of the park near the old tennis courts. Hole #10 tee is right there and you can start on the back 9 instead.
