There are about 12 cages in place now, but the park is in terrible shape due to the removal of 400+ Emerald Ash Borers. Quite frankly it was sad throwing amidst the remains of such destruction (albeit a necessary action).
Circles around the lagoon then cuts across to the Mississippi River. Beautiful, with lots of old growth trees along the river. The front is long and relatively open, while the back 9 is shorter with tighter fairways.
From west (MN); take Hwy 16 to La Crescent. At the signal (Hwy 14) turn east. Just across the Wisconsin border turn left into the park. 1st tee is in the 1st parking area on the right. From east (WI); take Hwy 14 west across the Blue Bridge. 2nd entrance into park.
