Course recently re-designed, so the course map posted here and the pictures don't match what's out there now. Signs on the course are are in place, with the correct number on the signs, but the pictures and distances don't match the holes. Freshly mowed! Rough is well groomed.

Majestic 400 year-old live oaks, an artistic bridge from the WPA era of the 1930s, a lagoon, and a railroad add to the flavor of New Orleans' first disc golf course. The lagoon, on or across all concrete sidewalks and roads, over the fence on holes 13 & 14, and on or across the track on 15 are OB.

Port-a-lets near 16/18's tees are the only nearby bathrooms.

Note: There are 9 Innova Discatchers in the park behind Christian Brothers School that are not part of the course!

Location

Local Directions:

From I-610, exit Canal Blvd, south to Navarre Ave and turn left. When Navarre Ave ends at Marconi Drive, turn left. Turn at the second right which is Roosevelt Mall. Enter a traffic circle and veer north onto Palm Drive towards a building ahead. Follow Palm Drive across a bridge and turn left. Park between hole 11 and hole 1.

If ever staying around French Quarter on business or pleasure, be adventurous and instead of driving, opt to take the green Canal Streetcar ($1.25 one way) to the end of the line, right at the City Park entrance off N Carrollton at Esplanade. Walk up Lelong Dr, go around the museum and into park, take first right (Henry Thomas Dr). Walk on until you see left-right fork in road. Left is Palm Dr, but you want to continue on Henry Thomas on right towards hole 1. Just a tad over 3/4 mi walk from streetcar to course, but worth it.
