Course pulled at end of April 2019. Hopefully a new Little River DGC to follow. Thanks for the memories.

Challenging, long, lightly wooded, with tall grass OB's between holes to add difficulty. A small creek (also OB if you go in) snakes through on four holes for added challenge. Hole #2 is a fenced island shot with two drop zones and a hanging basket. Hole #8 when set short has a wicket mando you must pass under. Multiple pin positions on most holes.

Location

Local Directions:

Little River is located approximately 21 miles west of McPherson, and 11 miles east of Lyons just off US Highway 56. State highway K-46 (the spur that goes north off of 56 into town) has been decommissioned by the state of Kansas and signage no longer exists, although it is still referred to on some mapping sites like Google maps.

From US-56, north on 26th rd, 1 1/2 miles to Little River (look for the 'Redskin Country - Little River' signs). At the south edge of town, turn right onto the first street, Walker Ave. and go three blocks to just past Spring Street. Take the right curvature into the sports complex and park across from the first baseball diamond's third base dugout. Go through the trees and over the fence (watch out for the barbed wire!) to NEW Tee #1 (old Tee #11).
