Plays through a grove of oak trees located inside a state park. According to Oregon.gov Champoeg is the oldest disc golf course in Oregon.

A park entry fee is required: $5 daily day-use fee for each car or buy a 12-month permit for $30 or a 24-month permit for $50 at the visitor center. Annual passes can now be moved car-to-car.

The park includes restrooms and picnics tables. Camping is available within walking distance of the course inside the park. It includes 79 campsites, 6 yurts, 6 cabins, group tent areas (3), group RV camp, 6 walk-in tent sites, and a hiker/cyclist camp.

I-5; exit #278 toward Donald/Aurora, to a right on Ehlen Rd. (becomes Yergen Rd.), 3.4 miles to a right on Case Rd., 1.3 miles to a slight left on Champoeg Rd. 1 mile to a right into entrance. Take the main park entrance and follow the entry road around to the fee booth, where the road forks. Take the right fork toward Oak Grove Day Use Area and follow the road all the way around to the parking circle. The first tee is at the south end of the parking circle near the informative sign, which has maps/scorecards for the taking. Course is terribly marked so hold onto the map! Practice baskets in middle of parking circle.
