Pros:
Ashland school playground course is actually located behind Lake Superior elementary school, which is easier to look up when trying to find it.
There's apparently 9 baskets here, but I was only able to find 8 of them. These are older Innova Discatchers. These are all still in pretty solid shape and catch alright. They have black numbers on them indicating that there is or was an intended sequence to play them in.
The course is open year round outside of school hours and free to play. Highly unlikely they will ever be much for other users here (though there was 1 other person today).
Cons:
As others have said before, this is more a practice area/safari course with no defined tee areas.
To go along with the above. No tees or signs.
The school garden can come into play but other than that the course is totally wide open.
The baskets are starting to show their age a bit. Not terrible by any means, but chains are getting rusty and a few were leaning.
Other Thoughts:
Decent place to practice drives in the wide open section and some putts I suppose. I played this course years ago, over a decade. I could not for the life of me remember anything about it.
Went back today, mostly to add pictures here, and started to remember it a bit. Not really worth your time, unless local. Below average WI school course.
