Pros:

Used what obstacles were in the city park to create a course around.
Liked hole 1.... double blind short shot... tree right in front of tee box and trees nestled around the basket.
Hole 4 was a throw over a drainage creek (which was full of water) that for my distance had to make a decision whether to go for it or lay up.
Hole 5 throws to the basket located right in front of the drainage ditch.

Cons:

Tees were marked with a metal pole with number only. Several tee spots were awkward throws (#8 comes to mind.)

Other Thoughts:

This course validates the "any course is better than no course" saying. It was the first of 12 courses I played on a Father's day weekend trip through Minnesota. It was OK as I was playing it, but in hindsight ranked 12 of the 12. Worth the stop if you're driving to Bemidji from the west, not worth going out of your way for.

Good for what it is 2+ years drive by

Pros:

-Makes good use of the small space and limited number of obstacles in the park
-Great for beginners or winter rounds, also lots of options for changing the layout and playing safari rounds.
-Quality baskets
-Open year-round, great for when Bemidji pulls their baskets in the cold months.

Cons:

-Half of the course is in a low lying area and can get quite soggy after rain/snow
-Tees consist of numbered signs stuck in the ground, no real direction as far as lines to throw behind.

Other Thoughts:

This is not a tournament quality course by any means, but the city of Bagley did a good job with what they have available.
