Baker's DGC 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 8, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

*New concrete teepads
*Nice tee signs, in addition to listing hole distances it also shows you distances to different points in the fairway and distances to water trouble
*A couple of fun risk/reward shots
*Not filled with the "225' straight shot" that is common on many 9-hole courses

Cons:

*Water is in play on 5 of 9 holes (but only for bigger arms on a few of those, more on that later in the review)
*Some of the baskets are not straight up but are tilted to the point where it's very noticeable
*Holes 1-3 are essentially the same
*Teepads for 4 and 5 aren't lined up facing the basket

Other Thoughts:

*For a 9-hole course at a campground water sure is in play quite a bit. It's probably too easy for an Adv/Open player but if you're a camper just trying out disc golf because it's there you would probably lose at least one disc. However, I will say that most of the water trouble is on the right (or 50' past a 300' basket) so the righty noob hyzer would miss most of the water
*I would probably drive the 21 minutes from my house to play this course again, which is a compliment for a 9-hole course, especially since I have two 18 holers and one 12 holer that are closer to me
*****For reference I'm around a 900 rated player who maxes out somewhere near the 300' mark*****
