Description
Weaves through historic silviculture (tree plantation) plots in a predominantly forested area that includes a lakeside front 9 and a back 9 with towering, old growth white pines. #4 has a mando - must go right of the mando tree. Open to the public but on private land. Play at your own risk and please respect the hikers on the Jackrabbit Trail and the folks working the Osgood Farm. Pack out all trash.
This course’s name is from the Iroquois term to describe the region's native Algonquins. “Adirondack” (means bark-eater) derived from the locals habit of eating the inside bark of white pine during times of food scarcity. Today this term is applied to the gnaw marks left behind on a tree after being struck by a disc.
Camping: Meacham Lake Campground is 10 miles north, Buck Pond Campground is 10 miles northeast.
