Pros:

-- Nice Innova baskets that are numbered.
-- Concrete tee pads big enough for this course (except 1 and 6, where the pads are only about 15 inches long).
-- Easy navigation. Course area is really small, so spotting the next tee sign is no problem.
-- Disc golf only area. The course is in a small park, but it's northeast of the soccer field and is the only activity in that part of the park.
-- Restroom at the parking lot.
-- Terrain is used well, especially trees to guard baskets. There is some elevation in play, as well. No. 7 is an uphill throw with the basket at the top of a ridge, and overthrow could lead to a long comeback putt.
-- Hole 4 is easily the best hole on the course (and the longest at 165 feet). You've got a tight RHFH line and a tighter RHBH line. This is the only par 3 on the course; all other holes are listed as par 2.
-- Nice map by hole 1.
-- Shaded playground near parking lot, so if you've got non-DGers with you, they have a way to amuse themselves for the 15-20 minutes it'll take you to play.

Cons:

-- Even for a micro course, this doesn't feel much like a course. With 8 of 9 holes at 101 feet or shorter (and three 70 feet or shorter), this is more like a large practice putting area.
-- LONG walk to/from parking lot. One way it's longer than the entire length of the course.
-- No bench at tees, but who really needs that if you're not walking much and only making 18-20 throws. There is a decent platform with a couple of seats between 5 and 6.
-- No. 8 tee sign missing. The post is there, so you won't have much trouble finding the hole, and you can see the basket from the tee.
-- No. 9 is a boring finishing hole even by this course's standards: 55 feet straight ahead with no trees. The basket does sit on a ridge, so discs could roll away right or left.

Other Thoughts:

-- The course has warning signs, but other than the occasional dog walker, you are unlikely to encounter anyone.
-- A creek borders the property but is not in play on the course.
-- The land is small for 9 holes, but a decent 5-6 hole course (with holes in the 150-225 range) could be designed here.
-- I hear people say "putters and mid ranges only" and assume that is a suggestion; here is it a rule. Signs say that drivers (defined as sharp edges) are not allowed.

Ace run central 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 19, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

Well marked with tee signs, cement tee pads and very good DiscCatcher baskets.
Nice little grove of trees with some elevation.
Great little par 2 course
Map at hole 1

Cons:

Is a Micro Course, putters and midrange discs only.
Long walk to the course from the parking lot.

Other Thoughts:

This is a good little course to bring kids to, or people for there first time throwing a round of disc golf. For a seasoned player, this is ace run central.

My biggest beef with this course is the walk from the parking area to the course, I didn't measure it but I think the walk was longer that the course.

Hole 1 starts off at the top of a small hill with the basket about 60 away. Then the course meanders around counter clockwise in a small grove of trees near a creek and on the side of a small hill. A couple of the shots utilize this hill. Longest hole clocks in a 161ft and is the only hole considered a par 3.

Would I play here again? Well, no, this is a course to bring kids to, or first time players to get a feel for the game. Not a course that challenges you in any way, but this it is not suppose to be. This course was not built for me (well, it was for me to bag)
