OK, the baskets are in, now what? 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 24, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

Great, new DISCatchers, installed perfectly with the irrigation boxes and locks.
Very easy access off Hwy 24 in the Crystal Coast area. In fact, I spotted these driving past the school the first time.
Not used very much, I drove by maybe 2 dozen times over a month and there was only 1 time I saw anyone playing.

Cons:

Not really a "course" which is why I entered this as a Practice Area.
No tees, no tee pads, the baskets aren't even numbered.
A couple baskets are near the school building and with its low roof, could be easy to lose one there. There are also thick woods near several baskets, you don't want to go in those areas looking for one.
There were large ant hills near several baskets, keep your eyes open when picking up missed putts.

Other Thoughts:

I was real excited to see these great looking baskets on this school campus just about 5 minutes from the RV Park where we were staying. This was not listed here, or even on Udisc, probably because its not really a course. But it does give you a chance to lay out your own course or just work on putting, on these great baskets.
The first 3 you see can even be played from the parking lot! After that, the next two are near the school, a few scattered trees make these good upshot practice. Then, moving away from the school, the 6th basket you come to is in an open area, near the football field. From there, there is a sidewalk leading to the baseball field, with the last three in a triangle shape beyond the outfield. All are in open areas and easy to spot.
Since you can spot each basket on Google Maps, I measured distances basket to basket for the list here. Starting at the middle one near the parking lot, over to the 1st one, then back to the 2nd, then going in order, finishing with the triangle in a counter clockwise order.
Whoever put these baskets in followed installation instructions very well, either from Innova or through internet research. Kind of disappointing that whoever convinced the school (or school board) to invest in these baskets, didn't take the time to design a course. Frankly, all they need is to split up the first three (by the parking lot) and then play basket to basket. That would be good enough to give the Bulldogs :) a feel for the game and the challenge of throwing on a course.
