Pros:
+Tee posts marking the place to throw.
+Decently well kept park. The land isn't the worst land that I've seen used for a disc golf course with a sizable pond, a bit of elevation, and a normal amount of mature trees.
+The first 4 holes involve water if you're into that.
+A decent amount of hole length variety.
Cons:
-Biggest con is still the awkward and small home made baskets. They are showing their age and are not big enough to catch normally.
-Grass tees
-Nothing for signage beyond hole #
-Could lose a disc in the water. This makes this course not fun for beginners nor challenging enough for more advanced players.
-Some of the fairways involving trees just don't have good lines. It's great to have trees as obstacles but when they make you throw unnatural lines just to get around a pine tree, it's not fun.
-Course doesn't loop back close to the starting point.
Other Thoughts:
-To answer dreadlock's question: Definitely wasted potential. Course was designed in 2011, his review in 2017, and now 2021. Safe to say that this is what this course is for awhile. Maybe when the homemade baskets fall apart and become unusable, they will find some money for real baskets, tees, signs, and do a re-design.
-This park could house a decent 2.5-3 rated course with a bit of effort. I could imagine fun park style holes in this place.
