Agree with previous review, could have been lots of fun! 2+ years

Pros:

+Nice Baskets
+Tee signs have enough info to guide you around this simple course. Very easy to follow.
+Concrete tees
+Never busy
+Ample parking
+Right next to river. Hole 9 could get wet.

Cons:

-Tees too close to baskets
-Works around the edge of woods instead of utilizing the trees
-Most shots are open and uninteresting
-Tees are really short and raised so they are hard to throw from
-Pretty low fun factor
-This is SD, could be very windy
-Big Sioux likes to flood annually.
-Could lose a disc in the river if you weren't careful.

Other Thoughts:

+Come here to warm up for Inspiration Hills or Tuthill. Or to bag this course, like me.
+Not really worth going out of your way for.
-They really did drop the ball here and took the easy way out. They could have sculpted some sweet holes in the woods with minimal tree removal. They also could have used the river better for some fun risk/reward holes.

Pros:

Not really many pros to this course other than there is a course. A couple of the more wooded holes force a line to hit and the last few holes in the open offer some distance and a water hazard on hole #9. Beginner/Rec friendly and a good warm up before heading out to the much larger and andvanced course at Inspiration Hills.

Cons:

My biggest complaint with this course is that the design did not utilize as much of the woods throughout the park that could have been used to make this a really fun 9 hole. There does, however, seem to be enough land to make a full 18 hole course down the road. The tee pads are extremely small and offer no run-up. The pads are also raised and provide a safety hazard for tripping or rolling an ankle. Some holes play too close to each other with baskets and next tees not set far enough apart from each other. Park space is not an issue so there should have been no reason for cramming holes close to each other. The park is subject to flooding if the river gets too high.

Other Thoughts:

This course is fine, albeit with flaws, for a small town course. I would give this course a slightly better rating if the tee pads weren't such a hazard and if more thought was put in to the design. I don't understand why they would pull the baskets during winter as the park is pretty flat and could easily be played during the winter. Whoever designed the course must not have consulted with anyone who really knows the sport to address these issues before the course was installed.
