Pricey for what you get 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 28, 2018 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Signage is clear. Easy to follow layout. Underbrush was pretty well cleared back and trails and greens were raked clear.

Cons:

No "fairways" to speak of. Most holes were a mess of trees between the tee and baskets. Ski Trails that the course is built on are not throwable to reach the basket. Birdied a few because of luck that the my disc found a path through. A few cleared trees would make a huge impact on the course.

Other Thoughts:

This place clearly favors the pitch and putt ball golf course. It would be great if they shared that space with the disc golf course and made a few "open" holes. There were a few signs that faced the disc golf course as you approached the Ball golf course asking for us "rowdy" disc golfers to be quiet. Clearly others were as offended as I was by these signs as someone wrote in "DISC" golfer to one of them. I think this could totally be worth the $5 if a few holes played along the ball golf fairways or even shared a Tee. You could make another 9 holes mixed with the Ball golf and make it worth the money.
Don't go out of your way to play this but if you are vacationing in the souther lakes region and need a disc golf fix... this will work.

Fun time 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Nice in city course by lake vacation spot. Took kids out for first round ever. Distance and difficulty level were appropriate for beginners with few hard holes.

Cons:

Heavily wooded course with standing water on eight and nine but overall fun.
