Pros:
Crossroads DGC is located on the property of a Youth Center. The course plays around the outskirts of the property. Here's what I liked about it:
*The round starts off with a really cool downhill shot into the woods.
*Decent shot variety, with six short to mid-range wooded holes and three longer open holes
*Good tee signage and solid baskets
Cons:
This course has some room for improvement.
*Most tee areas had poor footing due to either mud, roots, or uneven ground.
*Navigating the course was a little difficult. It would benefit from some "next tee" signs on the baskets or something.
*Although there weren't any other activities happening on the property during my visit, it seems like the course has a high potential to interfere with other stuff happening on site. One of the open holes plays over a ball diamond, while a couple of the wooded holes are right next to an area that appears to be a ropes course
Other Thoughts:
Crossroads is a decent nine holer that has some fun wooded shots. It's a quick round and is a good stop for anyone who lives in the area or is traveling near Big Rock. I would not personally go out of my way to play this one.
If there were decent teepads of some kind I would probably bump this rating up to a 2.5.
