Pros:
Damparken disc golf course is in the city of Haderlev , Denmark just acrross the border from Germany. The course lies between a busy street and a large lake which is behind a dam. It's a very pretty place for a course. The park is nice green grass, scattered mature trees and like the rest of the country, is very flat. There are six baskets and two tees for each hul (hole). The tees are board sunk into the ground, flush with the grass. They are very difficult to locate. Even with the on-line map, navigation was sketchy, at best. Each hul has a teesign giving the distance in meters. In English, each hole was between 250 and 300 feet. It's basically a recreational type course. Rollers are the way to go on a couple of the huls. There was no-one on the course the day that I played.
Cons:
You have to start with the fact that there are only six holes. The pads are grass and difficult to find. The wind was blowing hard off the Baltic Sea and seems like it's always blowing hard up here.
Other Thoughts:
The course description says that you are to park in the lot next to McDonalds. But that lot is part of an apartment complex. If that is the correct lot to park in, I hope the tenants there are willing to share their parking spaces. But the course shows little sign that it get's much use.
So this disc golf course was nothing very special. But if you're single, I would reccommend skipping the disc golf and checking out the local blonde Danish girls. I'd rate them as "5" or Best Of The Best!
