great course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 3, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Well laid out

Cons:

No pads

Other Thoughts:

It's a shame the Parks Department wouldn't support this course. It was a great course and could help draw traffic to a town that needs it. With some work this could have been a destination course. Crossroads did an incredible job. Hopefully some day it can come back.

Deming 2.0 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jan 1, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Shot Variety - Bombs and Technical
Topography - Hilly!
Good Baskets, with flags to help spot them with.
Area is exclusive to Disc Golf.

The people in the park are all really friendly, not just the Disc Golfers, but the everyday park-goer.

Cons:

Not a true Con, this is a brand new Course, so currently there are no Tee Pads, and the signage is simple blocks on wire, with small flags denoting the front of the Tees.

There are some very steep spots that could be really easy to slip down, which will probably be addressed as the Course develops.

Other Thoughts:

This is a great addition to complement the very fun Deming North layout. It has the classic shot selection that is a trademark of what Deming has always been about.

It is a much more physical layout than North, not Cart-friendly with more than a few parts that seem like hiking as much as playing Disc Golf.

I think that as the Course continues to be tweaked, this will be a solid 3 1/2 to 4 - Star Course.

The Crossroads Disc Golf Club has done a fantastic job, looking forward to seeing it get better and better!

**UPDATED** Unfortunately, the Terre Haute Parks Dept made the club pull the Baskets and turned it into a Temp Course.
