Not a destination Course/But decent 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 23, 2017 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

There are now tee markers for the four baskets. Mostly flows logically and good for a quick round.

You don't really throw much into any pedestrian areas except on #3, but it's not that highly trafficked of an area anyway, possibly some bikers and runners at peak times.

Cons:

Officially only four baskets. I would suggest taking a minute to check out the layout and make some alternative tees for a more full round, you can then play around the area several times.

Tee markers, but no tee-box (not that important) and finding the tee marker for hole 4 is a bit difficult (its back through the trees towards the highway. (if you go to the basket, the fairway is obvious and you can walk down it.)

Other Thoughts:

Not a pro or con, but very hilly. Bring hiking shoes; lots of tall grass.

The tee for basket 1 is way down a big hill, throwing upward. I start here, but then make alternative tee's up the hill for the next few times around.

It is a huge area that could be utilized, but all the baskets are pretty confined to the one area they are in. I am guessing the city had some say in keeping it in this small area.

If they get the opportunity to expand, the course could be more worth it; As of now (especially if you are not local and traveling) I think its more fun to invest the time to go to Schwab-Munchen or Weilheim,

Don't get me wrong,I am happy to finally have the chance to play on a permanent course in Munich, and I have no doubt there was some resistance from the City, so we should be happy with what we have, but I hope it can expand in the future!
