Pros:
This course is a decent course to work on your short and mid range game. For the most part the holes are in the low 200' distances. The mild elevation changes add complexity to some approaches, but they're certainly nothing crazy.
Cons:
The mesquite trees that litter the course make it difficult to throw "at" the baskets. For the most part you'll spend alot of your time throwing over the tops of trees as the foliage is just too thick on the fairways.
The day I played, it was a bit rainy and the tee boxes ended up being a bit of a mess.
Other Thoughts:
Although there are areas where one might criticize this course, it's overall a fun little course in Kingsville. It's really new, and I'm sure improvements will be made on it in the future. According to some of the local papers, there have been some plans to extend the course to an 18 hole course; however, I don't have any idea when, or if, that might happen. If you happen to be in Kingsville, I'd recommend giving the course a shot. It's pretty short, so you'd be able to fit it in whatever your plans might be.
