Decent option 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 4, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

Location -> one of a handful of courses in the area; Moncton is without question very pretty and charming

Fast -> easy to navigate course that's properly signed and features decent pads

Fun -> if you like short and technical holes and ace-race type experience, this one is for you

Free!

Cons:

Too short -> despite being situated in a beautiful urban park, almost half the course holes sit in the 200s

Buggy -> not horrible, but hey, pack the spray

Other Thoughts:

This course needs long tee positions. The park can accommodate a full-size, modern layout and has the potential to be great. Maybe it will evolve, like so many courses with a league and active community of players have...

Lots of mud 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 17, 2018 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

The course is located close to the Moncton airport and was perfect stop before heading home after Canadian Nationals. The course is short and technical that punishes a drive that isn't accurate. The players in this town will learn straight accurate shots and kill it on similar courses.

Course starts with a shot over the back of a ball diamond before heading into the woods before emerging from the woods to play around another ball diamond.

Cons:

The holes are short and too narrow. The fairways are clean but the woods is dense. The holes are pretty straight forward with some baskets protected by surround by trees

Biggest issue is the mud, so much mud. Even a week after it rained there was still wet spots.

Other Thoughts:

Great to see disc golf growing on the east coast. The regional group are fantastic, run amazing events and they are only going to do bigger and even better things.

Fast fun course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 17, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

Good variety, good signage, close to the airport, quick rounds, some tight lines and some bigger ones, good use of woods and elevation

Cons:

Mostly shorter holes, tee pads are rubber and slick, the rough was rough, could easily lose Discs here if you don't stay on the fairway, not super challenging but also not super easy either

Other Thoughts:

This is a course that if you play here every day, you will be very competitive. It a really good skill sharpening course for short-medium distance shots. Great course to hit on your way out of town before the airport.
