Description
Eucalyptus covered ridge and steep hillsides with spectacular views of Dodger Stadium and downtown skyline. After #8, climb uphill trail and cross ridge road to the 9th tee on reservoir hillside. 1st timers - BRING course map. The first of two courses in Elysian Park. Play the original 18 hole layout or choose to add various loops of supplemental holes after #2, 3, 8 and 17 (added in 2018). #3a and 3b (near back yards) are The Quiet Zone and rangers enforce no smoking in the park. *Feb 2021 - LA City Covid 19 Hiking rules are in place. Use masks, maintain at least 6 feet in distance and no large groups. Note that baskets 17a and 17b are not in at this time.

110 south; exit Academy (near Dodger Stadium). At 2nd stop sign, right on Solano then quick right at light on Park Dr. into Elysian Park. Go 300' past tennis courts and park near restrooms. Walk east across top of soccer field to trail heading uphill to the south to 1st tee. Alternate directions - especially during Dodger Stadium Events: From Broadway, go north on Elysian Park Dr. (west side of LA River bridge), road curves left (becomes Park Row Dr.)Park at the top - near houses on the left. Walk up the road and around the corner. #18 will will be up on the right.
