Pros:
Nice baskets. Concrete tee pads. Nicely mowed. That's about all the good I can say for it.
Cons:
Wide open straight shot to almost every basket - no challenge at all. Some tee pads don't face the basket.
Other Thoughts:
This course wasn't worthwhile to play.

Pros:
Great for beginners.
Clean and mowed.
Easy layout.
Windy here with open field so you have to try a bit to make the shots.

Cons:
Its a beginner course, what's there to complain about other than open field shots and not much terrible challenge other than challenging yourself to some ace shots.

Good Starter Course 2+ years

Pros:
Beginner level course set on the campus of Fremont Middle School. Would be a great course to learn how to play the sport. Was built to cater to beginner level players.
Baskets - 9 very grippy and new Innova Discatchers. Baskets had hole numbers on them and caught great.
Tees - Each hole had one large concrete tee that was also grippy. The ground at the time was wet but the tees still were not slick. Concrete tees on a school course is always an added bonus.
Signs - Each hole had a sign listing the hole number, par, and distance. It did not have a picture of the hole but was not necessary since all baskets could be seen from the tee.
Variety - Biggest difference here from hole to hole was the distance of the hole. 3 holes under 200 feet (one was 125), 5 holes between 200-300 feet, and the longest hole was 315 feet. 6 of the 9 holes were completely open. Hole 2 had a tree and a few light poles as obstacles. Hole 3 had 2 trees in the fairway with the basket behind the second tree. Hole 7 was positioned behind a few trees with a small water hazard a few inches deep. Holes 6 and 8 border a soybean/corn field and can the holes that get into players heads. Have to keep the throws to the left. Potential for losing discs. The holes here were completely flat with exception of hole 5 (slightly downhill), 7 (dip to the left), and 9 (slight uphill).
Easy to navigate. Each basket was within 30 feet of the next hole's tee. The concrete and signs were easy to find. Course is a nice loop.
Entire course is an ace run for anybody who is an intermediate or advanced level player. For beginners, this course is a confidence building course.
Room to expand.
Not many courses in the area. This course fills the gap. Closest coures are about a half hour drive away.

Other Thoughts:
I was in Angola over the weekend for a wedding and this was the closest course in the area so I wanted to check it out. It was intended to teach the game to students and this course would be amazing for students or beginners to learn. If a course was built in nearby Angola towards the town or even Pokagon state park, this course would serve as a starter course.
Courses like this are always appreciated in the disc golf world. I am not sure where discs would be sold in Fremont but there is a Meijer in Angola (10-15 minute drive) and they typically sell discs in their stores.
If a few more trees were added to add challenge or if holes were added (after 2 and before 3 in the other grassy areas), I would consider this course as a 2.5.
If you are looking for a challenge, this course might not be your cup of tea. I would recommend it to anyone in Northeastern Indiana wanting to lean how to play the sport or to practice your game. It is not too far from the highway.

Pros:
Easy to find and play. This course is short and pretty open, with a few mid-size trees and a retention pond used to create obstacles. Also some OB from the road/parking lot. Brand new DISCatcher baskets, nice, basic signs, and concrete tees. Great course for kids and beginners to learn the game.
Cons:
Short, open, not much of a challenge for more experienced players. Bird/ace run fest. No water or restrooms.
Other Thoughts:
Course is open to the public, except during school hours!
