9 hole gem in rural VT 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 5, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

Great shots on a well maintained course on preserved land. Very enjoyable to play with just the right elevation and risk/reward shots. At first I was apprehensive about making the trek to a 9 hole course that was pay to play on our journey through New England, but I figured "what the hell" I am so glad i did. Overall the course is probably a 4 star, but the people there made the difference. The woman at the counter was very helpful and pleasant.

Cons:

Shorter tees and some of the distances may have been measured in err.

Other Thoughts:

$5 that you pay covers you for the whole day of swimming, boating, hiking and mountain biking.

One of my favorite 9 hole courses 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 9, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Beautiful setting
- Holes are well thought out as far as placement and layout
- Varied holes weaving through the forest/bike trails
- Other activities available at the facility- see the website on the course information
- Sturdy Mach V baskets
- Well groomed
- Hole # 9 is the course's showcase- a steep downhill anhyzer blind basket with plenty of landing space. Great way to end the course!
- scorecards in the check-in building

Cons:

The main cons of the course come from its location in general; its not near much else making it slightly out of the way (to some, like me, this is a pro rather than a con).

Other Thoughts:

Does it have room to expand to 18 holes? Most definitely, and I hope it will at some point, especially if the quality of the back 9 would be as fantastic as the front 9.

I'm unsure why this course had yet to be discovered, but if you're in the area, do stop by and play- you will enjoy it! Perhaps with more disc golfers and foot traffic expansion will ensue?
