6 holes in small town MN

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 14, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

+6 nice baskets. Blue Prodigy. All in good shape and standing straight and tall.
+No chance to lose a disc here.
+Good for beginners to learn how to throw discs.
+Course does a reasonable job of staying away from other park activities in a smaller park.
+Park is overall pretty nice. Ballfield, nice variety of playground equipment, bathrooms and this course. Seemed to be well maintained.

Cons:

-No tee rocks left. My guess is that they got hit by a mower one too many times and were taken away. No tees at all. Just teeing off from a grass spot where Udisc says that you should tee from.
-Not much for obstacles. Not too wooded and the trees don't really force lines on most holes.
-Biggest challenge is from the baseball field fence. Not my favorite obstacle.
-No elevation to speak of.
-It is just 6 holes so that affects the rating a bit.

Other Thoughts:

+This course is better than nothing in a small town in a rural area.
+Very easy target for a course bagger, especially when paired with the 3 hole in town and the 5 holer in Stewart just down the highway.

Pros:

+ 6 baskets is better than none. Especially in an underserved area like this
+ Great for kids and beginners
+ Very clean and well maintained
+ Nice new Prodigy baskets
+ Hole 4 is actually pretty cool, just follow the outfield fence all the way around.

Cons:

- No elevation
- No challenges
- Hole 5 plays a little close to the playground and restrooms for my comfort. Hole 6's tee is right next to the playground
-Street parking (but I'm not penalizing for that)
-Tees can be a little hard to spot, a post would be nice. (missing a rock on tee 1)

Other Thoughts:

This is described as great for kids and families looking to have fun. That is an accurate description.
This is not a destination course by any means, but it never claims to be.
Great for learning on, warming up, or working on your short game.
It was hard to review this course as it's 2/3 of a course, so reviews may look copy-pasted
