Pros:
+9 nice blue baskets. All in good shape.
+9 concrete tees with good surfaces and in adequate size for these holes.
+Signage was pretty basic but good enough for a park style course that was fairly open with most baskets in sight off the tee. Navigation was pretty easy.
+The land here is not exactly ideal for a disc golf course but was used quite well from a design perspective. This is why you hire a pro if you are not an experienced golfer/designer yourself.
+A fair amount of elevation. More than I expected. 6 and 7 were the most dramatic with an up then down.
+A reasonable amount of trees on most holes (see cons). I feel like many of the trees were fairly young and will help the course as they grow. Bigger trees will help create better obstacles on a few holes.
+A good course for a smaller town. It will likely be used by younger people that are already here to use the ballfield or spectate there.
+Shouldn't lose a disc here.
+Ace runs available on many holes!
+Solid closing hole with a longer hole to a protected basket.
Cons:
-Definitely on the shorter side. The holes that are longer seemed to be more open overall. Don't come here if you are looking for a big challenge.
-Some of the very open holes including hole 1 were kind of duds. Hole 1 is very, very open.
-Hole 7 does play very close to the baseball field and if you throw nose up a bit, you could easily float it onto the field.
-Overall, not a lot of cons here beyond the usual park style 9 hole cons. The land isn't ideal for golfing but they used it well.
Other Thoughts:
+The course had a reasonably high fun factor. You won't be disappointed if you play here with reasonable expectations.
