Note: THIS IS A TEMPORARY COURSE ONLY SET UP ONCE A YEAR for the Air Capital Disc Golf Club ICE BOWL each January. The 2013 event will be held on Sunday, January 27. You will NOT find a course in this park at any other time.
Tourney temp course which has been set up for the Wichita Ice Bowl every January since 2008. Course is set up in the wooded area of Idlewild Park in the the Oaklawn-Sunview Improvement District on the south side of Wichita. Variety of holes with tunnel shots, tucked pins and lots of thorny trouble off the fairway. Mostly flat, but with some small spots of moderate elevation.

Local Directions:
From I-135: Take 47th Street South exit (Exit 1A) and go east 1.6 miles, underneath the KS turnpike and over the Arkansas River to Cedardale Ave (first right past the river). South on Cedardale to Oaklawn Drive, and then right into Idlewild Park. The Ice Bowl course is set up in park and wooded area to the west of the Oaklawn-Sunview Senior Center which is used for tourney HQ.
