8 Baskets in 2 Acres 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:May 20, 2021 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

+8 nice baskets. 7 holes and a practice basket. No need for the practice basket as this is basically a practice course.
+Shouldn't really be any other park users here. This tiny tract of land is all about disc golf.
+No way to lose your disc unless you go crazy and put it into a backyard.
+Great place to run aces. All holes are aceable.
+Navigation is easy.
+All holes are signed.
+Great place for beginners to learn the game.

Cons:

-Natural tees. Were a bit muddy on the damp day I was there.
-Park maintenance doesn't look to be a big priority. The grass and dandelions were quite long when I was there.
-While navigation is easy, you can see all baskets the whole time so you need to focus a bit to make sure you are aiming at the right one. After hole 2, you walk right back to the tee as 3's tee is right there as well.
-No real challenge here. There aren't many trees and none of them are really in the way of most flight paths.
-Distances are short. From just over 100 to just under 250.

Other Thoughts:

+It's really hard to make a good DGC on this small of land. They did a fine job with what they had but they didn't have quality or quantity here.
+Worth a stop for the novelty of a tiny course and if you are a course bagger like myself.
+Despite the low rating, I did have some fun here. I played with my new Innova Rat that I wanted to try out. It was enough (combined with my average arm strength) on all but one hole to get close. I shot a 15 and hit one basket and skipped into another pole below the basket.

Klingvall Park 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 12, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

+ Dead simple navigation
+ Well maintained
+ Clear signage
+ Marked baskets
+ Variety of obstacles (Trees, cattails, brush piles, marshland and a water tower all come into play)

Cons:

- Only 7 short holes and a practice basket
- Very cramped
- Tees 2 and 3 are 5 ft apart so after 2 you have to walk back down the fairway to 3

Other Thoughts:

This course would be good for someone to learn the game or to work on your short game.
If you aren't a beginner, play it as a par 14
