Short enough for beginners to learn basic shots and challenging enough for more skilled players to dial it in and get a string of birdies. Mixture of shorts and longs with omnipresent OB. Lightly wooded course with no underbrush and benches, trash cans, and restrooms onsite (near river in rear of park). Water in play on 7 holes; three along the Bayou Teche and four adjacent to a coulee that flows through the course. Out of bounds in play on almost all holes via concrete walking trail, water, buildings, or bayou.

From North (I-10): Take Exit 115 to LA-347 toward Henderson/Cecila. Go south (towards Henderson) on LA-347 for 3.4 miles to left on Andrew Broussard/Doyle Melancon Rd/Par Rd 214. Continue for 3.9 miles to left back onto LA-347. Stay on LA-347 for 2.5 miles. Turn right on Bridge Road and continue 0.5 miles.Turn left on LA-31/N Main St/Martin St and continue 5.2 miles. Turn left onto Magnolia Drive just past Sonic and stop light. Parking for course will be past baseball fields on left. From Lafayette (Acadiana Park): Go south on Acadiana Park toward E Alexander St for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto E Alexander St and continue 1.1 miles. Turn left onto Teurlings Dr and continue 0.4 miles. Turn left onto LA-94 E/Carmel Dr and continue 0.7 miles. Turn right onto LA-353 E and continue 6.6 miles. Turn right to stay on LA-353 E and continue 1.1 miles. Turn right to stay on LA-353 E and continue 5.0 miles. Turn right onto N Main St and immediately turn left onto Magnolia Dr. Parking for course will be past baseball fields on left.
