Not bad for a school course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 12, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

+Nice baskets. All in good shape and fully functional.
+Course is overall pretty easy to follow. I only had 1 issue with navigation and that was because hole 8 is an interesting angle off the tee.
+Some fun BRP #4 esque holes on the course. Long tree lined tunnel shots.
+Overall, very good shot variety for a 9 hole school course.
Some holes are fairly shot and aceable if you hit the right line and some longer holes. Most are lightly wooded but nothing too open.
+The signs aren't super informative but they do well enough for this course.

Cons:

-There was some garbage laying around in the woods and on the edge of the course. The grass was long and very wet in the morning. Overall upkeep could be better.
-Course ends on opposite end of school campus from the start. Extra walking involved.
-Still not sure if I like hole 8. It's a massive RHBH hyzer shot off the tee.
-Tees are just marked by a 2x4 in the ground. No real tee area. Was a bit wet when I played and the tees were slick.
-If you're into extra amenities, this is not the course for you. No benches, bathrooms, playgrounds, camping, etc. Just a school grounds with a course tucked into the edges.

Other Thoughts:

+Overall, this course was better than I expected for a small town school course. I would have loved to have it at my school.
+I played during the school day and saw no signs or people telling me that I wasn't welcome. I parked at the very west end of the parking lot, walked through the open fence, and began my round.
+This course is pretty average. I wouldn't actively encourage anyone of stop here or to stay away. It's ok.

Surprisingly fun 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 14, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

+ Tight but fair shots required
+ Need a variety of different shots to score well (big hyzer, low turnover, dead straight, touch shots)
+ Trees keep it interesting
+ Getting off of the fairway punishes your score, not your discs.
+ Well maintained
+ Map available online.

Cons:

- No long holes. Longest is 355 feet.

Other Thoughts:

A quick and fun course that beginners and intermediate players can both enjoy. Will require a few different shaped shots for drives to score well. Has a couple of memorable holes with hole 4 and hole 8 throwing over the top of the trees.
