-Good place to practice distance driving for beginner-to-intermediate players

-Useful as a warm-up course, as others have mentioned

-Not sure who this course is designed for. Beginners will find the course a bit long and will risk losing discs in the creek (which floods a lot and can get 6-7 feet deep in places). Intermediate players will be taking a lot of routine pars without many birdie chances, and advanced players will find it too open to take seriously.
-Felt like there were a lot of similar holes
-No tee pads
-Flat. Open. There are many, many similar courses.
-A basket is missing
-Not playable for long stretches of the year

There's only so much that can be done with an open field, and despite a valiant effort by the designer I don't think this is the type of course that one would travel to play. Still, I'm appreciative to the city of Fulton for taking the time and money to install it.

This course is right on the Mississippi River. There is a great view over the river into Iowa from the top of the hill about after hole 6. This course has good signs and some decent length for a 9 holer. Hole 3 is fun because you get to play under the huge bridge that goes over the river to Iowa. The baskets are nice bright blue DGA Mach 5s.

It is pretty much wide open. The shots get very repetitive. The elevation and land here was not really used to its potential. When I was there there was no tee sign for hole 1. It can sometimes be confusing what basket to play to. Navigation can get tricky here.

Not worth a stop.

This park is located right on the river. It has an excellent walking path on top of the levee. It's very open with some scattered trees. A small creek comes into play on a few holes.

There is some good length to this course.

Very nice tee signs.

The baskets are blue dga mach 5's.

Hole #3 is pretty cool. The hole plays under the bridge with a big cement footing that is a major obstacle. The basket was installed very low to the ground on a hill.

There was no tee sign for hole #1. We printed a map and made our own tee. You tee across the creek then walk across the footbridge. #1's basket is located behind a bush/tree and can be confused with #9's basket.

This course looks like it holds quite a bit of water. It doesn't look like it's played a lot. The tees are grass and are not worn at all. It's difficult to tell where to tee so we just picked a spot near the tee. The tee signs identify a 2nd tee for each hole but there is no way to find that spot.

This is a very repetitive course.

The baskets do not have the # on them. From tee 6 we threw to basket #7 then realized the other basket to the left.

There is some elevation on this course but it really wasn't used.

The parking is located right next to the baseball field in a gravel lot. There are quite a few buildings near the park and it can be difficult know where to park.

-some mature trees, many small trees that were planted during course construction.
-Nice baskets (deep blue mach III's)
-Water hazards on 1, 7, 9 add to the play of this course
-Unique concrete bridge piling obstacle in play on hole 3 or 4
-course was well maintained at the time I played
-single use park (dg only), although there is a walking path above the bowl (see Other Thoughts)
-Good hole length variation (holes anywhere from 200' to around 400'
-Decent signs for holes (accurate in describing holes)
-Course was fun, especially if you get creative and go tee off on the asphalt walking path for the holes that start near the path, as these were the intended tees.

-No facilities at course (no bathrooms, water fountains, garbage cans
-Didn't make full use of possible elevation changes (there is a whole other tier of elevation (15 vertical feet)) by walking path which has low pedestrian use
-Course looks like it could flood in high water events.
-Basket for hole 3 or 4 had sunk into the ground and the basket is at ground level, it needs to be repoured.
-Crappy tee pads (lines of brick, most of which I couldn't find even playing with the course designer)

-The course is in a small park along the mississippi river down in a bowl surrounded by (levees?)

-I played it as a warm up for Eagle Point in Clinton, IA.

-The course will improve a bit as the trees grow.

I guess the one thing this course has going for it is that it is new and they are working on improving it. This course is close to Eagle Point Park in Clinton and could be used as a quick practice nine before going there.

The major issue I saw with the course was the signs and tee areas. The tees are grass and were marked with bricks. Most of which were overgrown with grass. It was also hard to tell where to look for the tees from the signs. This course is suppose to have multiple tees but I had hard enough time trying to find one. Had the tees been easier to find this might have been a 3 or 3.5 course.

With a little work and improvement this could be a very nice little nine hole course. Lots of little trees that will grow and make this play totally different.
