FANTASTIC 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 21, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Gorgeous setting, creative holes, nice elevation, varied shots, well maintained, free.

Cons:

Some longer walks and not the MOST intuitive flow but pretty good sign marking. TAKE A PICTURE OF THE MAP!

Other Thoughts:

Absolute stunner of a course. I wish it had 18! Some great looking holes, giant trees and very well maintained. If you go on a hot day, make sure to bring water/snacks as there is nothing on the grounds of the Chateau (that I saw) and you work up a sweat! Bummer the drive has so much traffic, otherwise I'd be there multiple times a week!

My favorite course in CZ! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 20, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

A fairly challenging course for an intermediate player set on the grounds of a increasingly dilapidated chateau. The only course in CZ that I know of which offers 15 baskets. Good combination of distance (again, I throw max. 300 ft) and usage of natural obstacles. There are two mandos which offer a nice challenge. In general the grounds are well kept and the moderate elevation provides some decent exercise. The local community has embraced disc golf pretty strongly, so you will usually find other players there to play with or chat with.Just an all around fine course. I highly recommend it. I know that even more advanced players will enjoy this course as well. Go check it out!

Cons:

Takes an hour to reach by car from Brno. Train connection is lousy. You'll have to take a bus from the train station to the chateau park, otherwise you're in for a half hour walk. The first basket is situated by some benches where the local youth and what not seem to party, expect lots of trash and human feces if you get in the bushes to the left of the basket. This is the only basket where this is an issue and it doesn't really detract from the course for me.
