At 4000' on 2,600 acres at Mountain Lake Conservancy. This course is the original 9-hole course that now functions as a simpler beginner/introductory course. Plays around the meadow area. The newer more challenging 9 hole course plays in the woods around this course. $3/day.

Take Hwy 460 west towards Newport. Take a right on Rte 700 (Mountain Lake Road). Go 7 miles to top of mountain, continue through the main hotel entrance. Go 1 mile to parking lot for course on the right. Look for kiosks.
