My kind of water hazards 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 28, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

-9 discatcher baskets, numbered
-signs with distance on each hole (except #4)
-well kept park, nice grass, mature trees, clean
-sloped course, with gentle ups and downs
-water hazards, which I usually hate, but are very shallow, clear running water in man-made channels, and generally avoidable
-moderate to long holes (3 400+), shortest is about 265 ft
-trees but always multiple lanes to shoot through
-for most shots the basket is visible from the tee
-plenty of parking
-there are some long holes and a chance to air out big drives

Cons:

-geese are present, as are their droppings
-no tee pads, and only a couple are on cement paths, rest are dirt or grass

Other Thoughts:

-Usually I am not a fan of water hazards, since it means I may lose a disc. This area has man-made water channels cascading down the hill from the swimming area atop the hill. The water is clear, shallow, and in most places you can jump across the channel, and in other areas there are large rocks that allow you to walk from one side to the other. No chance of losing a disc.
-I played on a Tuesday with very few people at the park, but on the weekend, this might be a hard place to play.
-I would rate this higher with cement tee pads (4)
-This 9-hole course was well worth playing, just go when there aren't other users and you will have a great time!
