Nephi 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 15, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

It offered a place to stop while traveling and try to get a good stretch.

Cons:

The course is in a state of disrepair.
Basket 8 is missing Three of us could not find it. It may have been where the new water reservoir/tank seems to be located.
Trees trimmed removing limbs that would have made good obstacles.
Large dead animals and automotive parts lying on the course.
Parts of course disturbed bulldozer blade

Other Thoughts:

This place has potential and I bet it was great when first installed. The first hole tee marker is lying on the ground and the terrain around the first three baskets has been bulldozed. On additional holes, trees that would have been great obstacles to throw around have had their branches cut. There was a deer carcass by tee 1 and poached bull elk near 7 I believe it was. Car exhaust parts were in there somewhere too, maybe around hole 6. The basket for 8 is missing and the tee for nine could not be located. Basket nine was found next to a brush pile, water truck and pile of old pipe...not great.

9 Holes Of Desert Mountain Challenge 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 19, 2017 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

- Easy to follow and find baskets
- New baskets
- Makes perfect use of trees and elevation
- Requires and allows for multiple types of shots to reach baskets
- Ease of access from I-15

Cons:

- No tee pads at all (This dropped my score 1 star)
- Plays thru a ATV trail system so listen and watch for them.

Other Thoughts:

- Wear good shoes as this is a rough course playing over rocks, sage brush and juniper trees.
- Bring water as it gets hot quick

Overall I think this is a really fun course that provides a nice challenge. I played it thru twice and it took us about 45 min each round.
