Too expensive for what you are playing. Course layout is confusing, some of the holes you have no choice but to take a bogie or risk getting tore up by blackberry bushes. They overbook motorhomes and they park were the fairways are. It's just not worth searching out. Save yourself the money and look for a better place to play.

Neskowin Creek RV Resort is just off the 101. To enter the park, you need to be buzzed in by someone from the main office. They're very friendly and happy to separate you from your $5 bill. The course plays on both sides of the creek. I couldn't tell you for sure which holes are on what side. The signage and navigation is a little dicey. The course starts beyond the tennis court. Neither # 1 or # 2 poles have numbers. The numbers they're using here are these little stick on jobbers. The tee pads are crushed gravel with a wood border on three sides. The baskets are Black Hole MVP models. They are a little on the cheap side with thinner gage than usual but this private park isn't taking the vandalism hits as most city parks do.

I guess there are 10 baskets and 18 holes. I was a little confused by multiple numbers on some baskets and none on others. The on-line map didn't help either.

When I finally thought I had figured out 2-3 holes in a row then I would kind of dead in. It looks as though there was at one time a couple of holes playing over the creek but those seemed to kinda dry up. I think my experience here would have been a little better had Miles the course director not been wasting his time attending a wedding in Colorado.

I'm not sure about a design with 10 baskets and 18 holes.

The first thing that Miles needs to do here is to a fix a decent number to the tee poles. A little house # screwed to the pole would really help players navigate the course. It would be simple to screw two numbers on those poles that serve dual purpose.

The second thing is to find someone with decent enough computer skills to compose a better course map.

This course which is geared toward the campers is a decent enough little recreational course. Helping folks navigate it would make everyone's experience better.

* The land is pretty, set right up against a creek with the beautiful coast range in the distance. Also well maintained - everything's mowed and the blackberries are reasonably controlled.
* Miles was easily reached by phone and, while he didn't have a gate code to give us, the security folks let us in without any problem (just tell them you're there to play the disc golf course). The campers and staff were very friendly. No cost to play.
* Baskets are MVP Black Hole Pros, most in decent condition (one was under repair during my round due to severe wind storms the day before - unfortunately one re-used multiple times).
* The course design does its best to maximize the land while remaining extremely beginner-friendly and short, which makes sense considering the course is primarily an amenity for campers.

Three memorable holes for me:

* #8 is a short risk/reward hole - stay safe and collect your par, or go for the bird and risk a bramble-y lie if you're short.
* #10 is the only hole with any elevation to speak of, but it's downhill, making it an easy get even for beginners - my other players, who were newbies, thought this was super cool
* #17 plays across the river which was rushing quite fast during time, meaning say goodbye to any river victims. Also the only hole on the course with multiple tees - 17A has a generous window to shoot through, 17B is a bit trickier. Definitely the most you'll sweat on a <100 foot hole!

* The layout of the first 6 is compact, with both tees & baskets re-used. Definitely get a map (there's a good one posted here on DGCR, and Miles offered paper ones as well) or you will be turned around. We never did find the tee for #7.
* If you're not a beginner, this course won't challenge you. Lots of holes are under 200 ft, and the majority are open for a RHBH player, and quite a few are completely open for any style of shot. However, if you're playing with a beginner, it's a good chance for them to get some 2s Some of the shorter ones do bring the river into play, which will be in the back of the mind of a longer thrower but probably won't be a factor for a newbie.
* Some, but not all, tees are numbered, while baskets have small flags with hand-written numbers, but given this is the Oregon coast, the numbers have weathered away already. The baskets are also black, which means if they're up against the trees (which many are) it can be quite difficult to see them. Some bright colored flags with printed numbers would help a lot!
* Shared basket for 11/14 is in a low wetland and was under several inches of water during my round, didn't look like it was going to drain anytime soon. Probably not an issue in the summer.

Quite grateful to have a course available, and a very quiet/peaceful one with no other golfers at that, in a beautiful portion of the Oregon coast that has a lot to offer but has very little in the way of DG courses.

* Miles is a great guy, very friendly and accommodating
* campground is a possible option for an overnight stay
* creek to throw over. At other times, you throw toward the bank and if you throw too long, the penalty can be great

* shared baskets but not a lot of people on the course so it really doesn't matter
* lack of elevation change

I really enjoyed my time on this course.

There are a good variety of shots from short and technical to some long and open. Shots that favor different lines, and does not favor backhand over forehand. Good for beginners. Scenic setting.

Some holes are quite short. Since it is a safari style course, a few tee pads and baskets are reused.

A great offering to bring disc golf to Neskowin and the Oregon coast, where courses are hard to find. Great use of the RV park open space and the management is very kind and open to people playing the course.
