Other Thoughts:
I don't think that is enough good things I can say about this course. It might be my favorite 9 hole course I have ever played. As far as Church course, it is the best.
The holes are a good mix of open long holes and short technical shots. A couple of the holes are decent par 4 holes where it is important where you drive lands to get the 3.
As I put in the course description, they are working on a back 9 holes. I could see the flags, and could hear the heavy equipment doing some clearing. If they put into the back 9 what they have done on the front 9, this will be one of the more fun and nicest courses in the area.
I normally donate $5 when playing a 9 hole course, after I finished my round I added another $5 in the box as I though this course rocked and was well worth it.
Would I play here again? Heck yes, when I see the back 9 is finished, I will hit it on my next trip into this area.
And to be honest, 4 1/2 stars is the highest rating I have ever given a 9 hole course. It's not just about the layout, it's about all the little things they have done to make this a fantastic course.
