Great 9 Hole Course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 10, 2021 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

+ Concrete Teepads

+ Prodigy Baskets catch very well and are orange so they are easy to spot

+ Easy to navigate and find the next tee and pin

+ The course uses the natural topography very well. Every bit of elevation is used to its full potential. Basket placements take full advantage of the natural hills and valleys of the course making you think twice about running some putts.

+ Hole 9 finishes right by hole 1's tee so you can easily play 18 hoes without much hassle.

+ Every hole can be played forehand or backhand. The course was designed with this in mind and it shows.

+ The course has a good mix of slightly wooded holes and slightly open holes that are all at a good mix of distances.

Cons:

- Teepads are a touch on the shorter side but I'm also tall so this is just preference. Every hole allows for you to get a full runup from behind the tee without much issue.

- The course would play a little bit better if some of the fairways got slightly trimmed to make a few holes more fair but it is not a necessity

- The city is putting in a paved walking path that weaves thru a few holes so I can see this becoming an issue in the future.

Other Thoughts:

Overall this course is a blessing in a small town. There is another 9 hole course in town that is the definition of pitch and putt so this course is a breath of fresh air. I would recommend playing this little nine hole course to anybody, its a lot of fun to play that is challenging but not too challenging. I really wish there was enough room on this property for 18 holes because I have no doubt that it would be a great 18 hole course.

Very enjoyable 9 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 13, 2020 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Well developed use of terrain slops, fields and tree cover. Good layout and easy to navigate. Wooded shots are around 250ft and the more open holes are 400ft +. Better suited for serious players without being punishing for new players.

Cons:

The course could be upgraded with benches or other amenities. Using the natural landscape it does not have any noticeable landscaping. Only 9 Holes
