With a 25+ year history, Ottawa Park has become a staple of the Toledo Disc Golf community. It has been supported over the years by community members who have stepped up to regularly provide mulch to fill in low lying wet areas, funding for new teepads, organization with the parks for new trees, and baskets and tee signs whenever replacement has been necessary. The course utilizes strategic pin and tee placement to use what elevation and trees are available to make each hole a unique shot shape. The Red Tees are a shorter set with more opportunity to take on multiple shot shapes, while the Blue Tees are longer and enforce more strict shaping. The course has minimal-to-no undergrowth on the holes, with the primary ground level obstacles coming from occasional mature pines that sprout branches down to ground level. In terms of skill level the course provides a strong challenge at course par for players up to the PDGA 875 (Red Tees) and PDGA 950 (Blue Tees) rating level.

From I-75: Take exit 203A, merging westbound onto Bancroft Street. Follow Bancroft for 2.9 miles to a right turn on Ottawa Parkway. Take the first available right turn onto Robin Lane. Parking is available in a lot on your right or continue to just before the tennis courts to park in the road next to hole 1's teepad. From US-23: Take exit 232, merging onto I-475E. Follow I-475E for 4.9 miles to exit 19, ProMedica Parkway. Turn right onto ProMedica Parkway, and follow for 0.2 miles to a left turn onto Central Avenue. Follow Central Avenue eastbound for 0.2 miles to a right turn onto Upton Avenue. Follow Upton Avenue for 0.7 miles to a right turn onto Ottawa Drive. Follow Ottawa Drive for 0.3 miles to a left turn onto Robin Lane. Parking is available in a lot on your right or continue to just before the tennis courts to park in the road next to hole 1's teepad.
