Pros:
New course, new baskets
Maximum use of land
Restrooms and plenty of parking
Cons:
Not a lot of trees, several open bombing shots
Grass tee's
New course not marked very well, no tee signs. (when I played it at least)
Other Thoughts:
Not a bad course, however the park does not have a lot of trees so many of the holes are wide open shots.
Now it does make maximum use of the park, I really did like several of the holes including the few wooded holes on the back side.
This course clocks i a just over 7000ft. Longest hole is about 650 (hole 1) but there are 3 holes over 600, 2 holes in the 500ft range, just 1 hole in the 400ft range, 7 holes in the 300ft range and 5 holes under 300ft.
Ob's, you have the lakes that can come into play (lost a Star Valk on hole 4) and you have the roads that should be played OB. These come into play on a couple of the holes.
The only really wooded holes are holes 9, 10 and 11. These 3 holes are at the farthest away part of the course from the parking lot. This is also where you have the worst hole on the course, hole 12 is a filler hole. Under 300ft hole with no trees and the only obstacles are if you turn it over into the lake (right hand back hand throw)
Would I play here again? To be honest, the course is not all that bad, but you have so many holes at Riverside with the 2 courses there with a much bigger variety.
