Recently renovated with two holes removed due to land dispute, two holes added to remain 18 holes, and a few redesigns, the new course layout features "slightly" more open shots due to the removal and thinning of the dead and fallen trees after the drought in 2011-2012. What the course may lack in length, it makes up for in girth. Heavily wooded boundaries separate the holes, and tight fairways, with numerous low ceilings and well placed trees penalize anything short of perfection off the tee. Based on the PDGA tournament held 28-Aug-2010 this course has an SSA of 51.66. NOTICE: THIS COURSE IS NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. YOU MUST BE WITH A RESIDENT OF KINGWOOD OR YOU WILL BE ASKED LEAVE. AFTER JANUARY 1, 2011 YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED IF YOU DON'T HAVE A KINGWOOD STICKER (You can park near the bridge just before the course starts...walk down and begin at hole 12)

59N to Kingwood Dr. Go east to a right on Woodland Hills Dr. to the park. Park at first chance on right (across street from bathrooms). Practice basket and 1st tee toward the river past picnic pavilions. You will see a sign and map of the course and the practice basket will be to the right down the trail past the map. First tee is 60 ft to the left of the practice basket.
