Hitting the gap is all that matters; you don't need to penetrate far in. If you don't have a right-turning shot, you can play to the mouth of the gap and still have a long putt.

To get to the basket in two shots, you'll need to take the aggressive gap to the right over the water. Playing left can work, but will even make a par somewhat difficult. Regardless, landing on the hillside is the ideal place to be, away from both the baseball fence and the woods.
