Pros:
I'm not sure what the official name is? DGCR list the course as Sandpoint-Littlefoot DGC. But signs at the course call this Little Baldy Family Course. Whatever you choose to call it, this course is a simple straightforward pitch and putt. The course has Discatchers and natural pads. There are no signs. Distances range from 107' and only # 4 is over 200' at 226'.
The holes are mostly open but a couple have some trees protecting them. This is a pretty ideal course for that newbie or elementary age players. I'd be confident that some of the Baldfoot regulars get over from time to time working on their short game or just chasing those Aces.
Cons:
The course sits in mostly a field which doesn't provide a lot of obstacles.
Beginner distances.
Natural pads.
Dustiest parking lot anywhere. This probably isn't a serious con, eh? Visiting Canadian players with clean cars will understand.
Other Thoughts:
I love the simplicity of this course. This is the course that you can bring that beginner, beginner to and not frustrate them. It could be a little more visually attractive but you can't please everyone. I'm sure the "Little Baldy Family Course" ( see photo) accomplishes exactly what it was designed for.
