Pros:
Interesting terrain and usage of available property, including forest, sand dunes, open grasslands, large old trees, and one small nasty looking pond (which comes into play on a few holes). Good creative hole placement which gives plenty of opportunities for using every shot in your arsenal, left and right handed holes in fair proportions, several holes that reward precision and several holes with opportunities to 'let it fly' and multiple risk/reward choices throughout.
Cons:
Rubber tee pads presently, that, when mixed with the sandy terrain make for very slippery footing. Very confusing layout at times, much better signage and/or maps would be nice. Course is not designed well for playing 9 or 18, as the front nine leaves you quite a distance from the parking lot.
Other Thoughts:
Scenic, and well worth a return trip. Nice to see a disc course in this under-utilized corner of Michigan. Portapotty at the first hole. Wear good shoes, because there are prickly pear cactus all over the place on this course, and the 'rough' on the wooded holes is brutal.
