Pros:

-There are permanent functioning baskets

- The only course in Budapest

Cons:

- no tee signs
- outdated map with wrong basket locations
- no functioning udisc layouts
- no easy public transport to
- if the course was ever busy, holes would cross

Other Thoughts:

I wasn't going to review this course, but I saw it had zero, so here we go. I had a couple hours to spare before my flight and wanted to add to my course list so I stopped by Sportliget. It was a 30 min walk from the metro, and is located in a pretty nice public park that has elevation, some woods, and decent amenities. Unfortunately, thats where the positives end. The fact is, if you haven't been here before, you are going to get utterly lost. Like I stated earlier, this course has no teepads or tee signs, but if you look hard enough there are small plastic markers in the ground to show where you tee off. However, they are hard to find, and not aligned with any Udisc map, so you are going to have to guess based on a ten year old map of the course that also has baskets in different locations than they actually are. I basically had to become a course designer and decide where the best place where to tee off based on basket numbers (the basket layout doesnt even make sense) If this sounds appealing, then this is the course for you. Maybe I was just tired after travel, but the fact this existed left a poor taste in a mouth. But hey, I played a course in a new country so there is always that!
