Pros:
Recycled baskets
well maintained park
Good course flow
Cons:
No tee's are marked, you have to use the UDisc map
grass tees for 7 of the holes,
Other Thoughts:
I love that Ponca City has put in this and Sherwood park using old StrokeSaver baskets. (would like to know the history of those baskets as I knew the guy who built them)
This is another park that really only has disc golf in it. There is a picnic table near hole 1 that probably gets used, but other than that, the only thing i the park is baskets.
Again, my biggest gripe is that there are no tee's marked. How are the neighbors suppose to play when they have no idea where to throw from?
This is an old park with a small creek going though the middle of it. There is an old bridge in the middle that you will use for hole 7 tee box. You start off throwing hole 1 from a drainage area then throw back along the creek to hole 2. then the course wides around the other side of the creek till hole #8.
After playing hole 8, you play back to basket #2 for the 9th hole finishing right where you started.
Lots of large trees to throw around is why I gave this course the 3.5 rating. It's a decent little 9 hole course.
Would I play here again. No, there are much better courses not too far away. This would be a good course to bring new players out to or to just play something different. You could have the park to yourself and practice on your game. it does not look like this course gets much play.
Please someone mark the tee's, it would make the course so much better and encourage people to play.
