Nice Property, could house a legit course if they wanted 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 9, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

+Nice property. Mature trees, well maintained, Swan Lake, gradual up and down hills.
+Trees are signed 1-18
+Course is likely not busy.
+Overall fairly fun layout. You have to have a bit of imagination to get around the lack of infrastructure (baskets, tees, etc)

Cons:

-No tees. I teed from a flat space near the last hole.
-No signage. Can be a bit hard to find the next hole as you are just looking for a tree with a sign on it.
-No baskets, just trees with a sign.
-Can't/shouldn't play at times with campers/events going on. Definitely use the number on here to call ahead and find a time that works.
-Could lose a disc in the lake.

Other Thoughts:

+Play here if you are a course bagger like me. No other good reason to come here just for disc golf.
-Overall, really hard to enjoy a course that doesn't have baskets. Even the best layout in the world would be dampened by not having baskets. They are an integral part of a modern disc golf course.
+If they wanted to and had 10k to spend and some labor to use, they could put in a solid course that could be up to a 4 disc rating. The land isn't amazing but it is solid enough that a great design and execution could provide a really fun layout.

Decent course lacks baskets 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 14, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

Kind of a fun short little course. Some elevation changes. Variety between open and wooded holes.

Cons:

NO baskets. There are just trees with signs numbered 1-18. No tee pads or marked area. No hole signs. Grass was too long for skipping. Some holes were difficult to find.

Other Thoughts:

Lake runs by a few of the holes. There is a possibility of losing discs. It is a change from trying not to hit trees to deliberately trying to hit them.
