Pros:

It's a pleasant well maintained park. Holes were fairly open but with a few mandos to add a little challenge.

Cons:

a bit hard to find your way around the course. Hole 6 is particularly hard to find. we played 7 first, then 6 as that's how we found the tees. It's a long walk from 5 to 6. to get to tee 4 you pretty much walk all the way back to tee 3.

Other Thoughts:

hole one is in the east side of the park, just north of the horse barn. There are bathrooms just to the east of the grandstand. That's also a convenient place to park as it's somewhat between holes 1 and 9. For 9 holes it's not a destination course. We play all the courses in the state once. Doubt we'll make the journey back to place this again unless in the area. The Eugene covered bridge is 5 minutes north and worth a photo op.

Pros:

DGA Mach X targets. Tee signs with basic info., no hole layout. A interesting layout that includes longer distance then the avg. Beginner course. No underbrush or water to lose a disc.

Cons:

No kiosk to inform potential new players. No concrete tee pads. Depending on Fairground Events some holes may be unplayable. My guess is hole #2...the fairway may be used for parking. Other holes could have park users too.

Other Thoughts:

Takes about 10/15 minutes From I-74 to get to the park. A round will take approximately 30 minutes. Even with not knowing the layout.
Turn left into park at the 1st. Park entrance and take road til it starts to curve. Youll see #1 tee sign. It's behind the Community Building? Look for the large propane tank. I parked in the grass by the #1 tee signs. Unless a large event is happening you should have no problem playing all 9
