Practice Venue 2+ years drive by

Pros:

The only baskets in Tomah. It's a great place to practice putting or you can play the two 200 foot holes over and over. Well maintained.

Cons:

Somewhat restricted on a Federal VA facility. I wouldn't recommend it as a destination.

Other Thoughts:

There are presently only two holes due to construction. The Golf Ball Course mgr said the 'course will be moved to the north sometime in the future.

3 baskets @ a VA center 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Cement tee pads with a map and quality baskets on each hole.
The holes play around several trees and force lines on tee shots. Three chances at getting an ace.

Cons:

Obviously, only 3 holes.

Other Thoughts:

Stopped to stretch the legs on a road trip- also stopped at Mile Bluff DGC in Mauston just a little east on I-90. I highly recommend Mile Bluff instead.

There is also a rather short, simple, dumpy looking 18-hole ball course course on the property. Looks like that land would be great for an 18+ hole disc course.

Pros:

It's three holes near the Veterans Center...they had so much beautiful green space to use and they threw the course in a one of the worst spots honestly. The holes are decent...pretty fun little ace runs.

Cons:

It's three holes...

Other Thoughts:

Again, it's three holes...so if that's ok with you come and play a six minute round and cross the course off your list!
