Pros:

-Awesome temporary tournament-course, set along a ski-slope at the highest
point of North Rhine-Westphalia.
-The scenery is stunning, with perfect views over the hilly, wooded region "Hochsauerland".
-With many baskets inside the woods and crazy difference in elevation, this course
has a lot of unique and challenging holes to offer.

-Although the layout changes with every tournament, the variety of shots has
always been in a good balance.
-As the course is set up only for tounaments, it has always been maintained perfectly
(except for the rough).
-You dont run into any people beside some hikers which were seen rarely.
-There is a lodge with rooms and a restaurant at the bottom of the slope.

Cons:

-The course is only set up for tournaments (at least once a year).
-The elevation changes are ridiculous when you play uphill. You need to take your time/you are forced to go slow when you go up the mountain. It can get very exhausting, playing here.

-Depending on the layout, you might need spotters as there might be blind shots and the discs tend to roll down quite "a bit". In addition to that, you want to stay in the fairway, due to very thick bushes off the track.

Other Thoughts:

-I would recommend this course to Advanced players and Pros alike as i see more
importance in ones physical fitness than in
the level of skill.
-As i talked to other players, some couldn't agree with my sympathy for this course.
Some might argue about the layout, as certain holes seem really steep and unnecessarily difficult. I agree for some reason but see these holes as the needful way to get to the top. Keep in mind that it plays along a ski-run. It is more than a "regular" hike combined with Disc Golf.
Good footgear is recommendable.

-There are rumours, that this course might be set up permanently/seasonaly.

-On 05/13/17, the course will be set up again for the 5th tournament of the Westfalen-Tour and probably a week later for the third "Top of NRW".
